Find Residential Propane Delivery Near You
Find home propane suppliers that publish residential tank delivery for a city, town, or county. This lookup is for a house tank, not grill-cylinder exchange or a refill cage.
Search home propane companies
Search cities, towns, and counties. Choose a state first, because the same place name is used in more than one state.
What a match means
A city or town result means a provider page names that community for residential delivery. A county or parish result means the company reported service somewhere in that county. Where the page limits the area, the result keeps that limit, including notes such as a northern or southern portion. We do not turn a partial county into a list of every town inside it.
“Company reports” means the company’s own site, or a named fulfillment partner’s site, is the evidence. Utility Rates did not inspect a route or call the office. Visit the provider website and ask them to confirm the street address, tank size, and next delivery window.
Some cities are not named by a provider page. When Census geography ties that city to a county a company does list, the search shows that company in a separate section. Those rows are county leads, not proof the company listed the city. A city in more than one county asks you to confirm which county the address is in.
How to compare home propane companies
Gallon price is the number most people ask for, and it moves with the season, the size of the delivery, and whether you are a new customer. This lookup does not show a price, because the service-area pages we used usually do not publish a current residential rate. Get a written quote for your tank size.
- Delivered price per gallon, and which fees sit outside that price.
- Who owns the tank. A leased tank can tie delivery to one company until the lease ends or the tank is bought out.
- Minimum gallons, trip charges, and whether the route is automatic or will-call.
- Contract length, price-cap plans if they offer one, and budget billing.
- Hours for emergency service, including leaks and out-of-fuel calls. The company should explain what they will and will not do on site.
A national brand can show up for only some towns. AmeriGas, Ferrellgas, and Suburban Propane publish separate pages for home delivery and for cylinder exchange. A town is included only when the page we read was for residential delivery.
Grill-cylinder exchange, autogas stations, and wholesale-only supply are out of scope. An office address is not a delivery territory. Those rows, and directory listings that are not the company’s own service-area page, appear only under unconfirmed leads. No radius is drawn around a branch, and no county is inferred from an office pin.
How this list was built
On 2026-10-24, Utility Rates recorded 177 propane companies and 4,176 places their public pages named for residential delivery. Each result links to the page that was read. The research date is the day that page was read, not the day the company last edited it. The list will expand. It is not every propane supplier. Ownership ties between parent companies are not fully mapped, except where the source itself names a buying group and the company that delivers for it.
Of those place records, 3,421 match one Census place or county. 394 names match more than one official place, so the search asks you to pick one. 361 names are still unmatched and stay attached to the wording the company published. Connecticut results keep historical county names when that is what the company printed. Current Census geography there uses planning regions. Louisiana county-type rows are parishes. When a company’s own page limits a county, such as the southern part only, that limit stays on the company card.
If a listing is wrong or a service area has changed, contact Utility Rates. Corrections should point at the provider page. We keep the prior source when a place is withdrawn rather than silently widening a territory. For how this site handles sourced utility rates more broadly, see the methodology and about pages.
